The Triratna Buddhist Community was founded by Urgyen Sangharakshita and 2025 marks the one hundredth anniversary of his birth. For this special anniversary year our online celebration of Triratna Day will be a rejoicing in his life and qualities. In each of the three sessions we will hear from different Order members about life changing encounters with Sangharakshita and then meditate together as an international spiritual community.

Sangha Nights are an opportunity for the Triratna NY NJ Community to come together for an evening of Dharma programming and companionship. We will gather on Zoom for meditation, checking in, program presentation, and spiritual friendship.

Join us on Tuesday December 31st 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm ET for an evening of connecting as a community, thoughtful reflection on the year past and sharing of hope and aspirations for the year ahead. Let’s support one another in our intention to be mindful and compassionate towards one another.

Join us on Monday, June 10th from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm for an evening as a community, reflection on our practice, and how our community is (or is not) helping to support your practice. 

This Triratna NY-NJ in-person practice day will be held at Manhattan’s Lucid Body House on December 3. Join us for meditation, group discussion, and ritual, followed by a lunch and cultural excursion nearby.
